The Rules and Public Policy Committee will meet at 5:30pm Tuesday in room 260 of the City-County Building. The ACS-City revised deal to privatize publicly owned parking is on the agenda and is by far the most significant item on said agenda. I encourage anyone and everyone who has a passionate opinion on this to attend the meeting.

My pastor preached a sermon and quoted from proverbs. It's one that seems so fitting for this occassion, “The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion. When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but with a man of understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.” Proverbs 28:1-2
ReplyDeleteAin't they got no shame. The shame would come when the eleven of us lose our jobs for speaking our peace at a meeting in public. We ain't the brightest bunch in the crowd but we have to provide for our families.
